An Useful Weight Loss Tricks

If you are in the market for a diet, whether it is to lose a few extra pounds or a whole lot of pounds, you may also be looking for weight loss tricks to help you out. We all know that the true secret to losing weight in the long run is to eat fewer calories than you burn, but sometimes that is not so easy, and you may just need a little help.

One of the most common weight loss tricks, one that is used by the leanest Hollywood stars, is to drink lots of water. Stay off of the calorie-free sodas and switch over to plain water. This will help you lose weight almost immediately and will do other things like clear up your skin and make you feel better, too. It's a great idea to get in the habit of drinking a large glass of water around eight ounces, just before each meal. You'll have the feeling of a full stomach before you even eat.

Eating spicy foods tends to ramp up your calorie burn, so if you like salsa, pile it on! Salsa in particular has very few calories, and because of all the spice, it makes the food in your system go through a little faster. You will find that by adding salsa to otherwise less spicy foods, you start to lose weight.

Fiber is another secret to losing weight. In many ways, fiber helps to move things through your system faster (with the help of lots of water), so that you pick up fewer calories along the way. When you start to eat more fiber, whether it is through fiber pills, drinks, or natural sources, you will feel healthier and not feel hungry at all.

Here are some examples of high fiber foods. Whole grain breads and whole grain spaghetti noodles are great. There are also oat bran muffins, apples with the skin on, almonds and walnuts. Lots of broccoli, dates, raisin bran cereal and any kind of bean are an excellent source of fiber. I've just touched on some of the high fiber sources you can eat and feel full naturally.

There are a lot of weight loss tips on the Internet, some of which work, and some of which do not. The real trick is to try them out for yourself and see how your body reacts. In most cases, if you are able to safely rev up your metabolism while tricking your body into feeling fuller, you will lose weight quickly.  PDF
